BATON ROUGE - Senators are expected to attend the Health and Hospitals Secretary Bruce Greenstein grill on the steps that led to his former employer being operated for more than 300 million Medicaid claims processing contracts. "There are some serious red flags," said Senator Karen Carter Peterson, D-New Orleans. The Senate and Governmental Affairs is scheduled to discuss the contract Friday with the confirmation hearing for Greenstein said. By Melinda Deslatte.

Illegal Dumping
ALEXANDRIA - The Alexandria is struggling with an issue of ongoing illegal dumping. Instead of throwing their garbage and debris in the right way - by placing it on the street in front of their homes - some people are putting this garbage on abandoned properties. Mayor Jacques Roy said there is a growing perception that the problem is people from outside the city of Alexandria and the entry into illegally dumping trash. While this is part of the problem, he said that the issue is not that simple. Not only non-residents illegally dump, so do city dwellers.
ATTORNEY KILLED
BATON ROUGE - A 40 year old man convicted Baker on April 9, 2009 stabbing to death his wife, the lawyer for Chiquita Tate, in his office from downtown Baton Rouge will not be condemned on Monday as originally planned. Lewis Unglesby, attorney Greg Harris, said he will be involved in a jury trial scheduled to begin Monday and continue until late in Orleans Parish Civil District Court. Lead prosecutor Prem Burns also said that the presentence investigation report ordered by the State District Judge Trudy White if Harris has not been completed.Unglesby and Burns said a fresh condemnation has not been set.
